Crest Communications — Southern California’s Premiere Content Provider!
Founded by proud Angeleno and seasoned media professional David M. Ciminelli, the West Hollywood-based Crest Communications has its roots in his early career accomplishments. Ciminelli’s professional media path began with a significant role in the 2010 revamp of The Hollywood Reporter as a digital-first brand under esteemed editor Janice Min. The New York Times praised the high-profile relaunch for its captivating design and exclusive content.

With over 15 years of professional journalism, marketing, and communications experience under his belt, Ciminelli’s media expertise spans both coasts, where he played vital roles in many impactful initiatives. He notably contributed in producing Southern California-based First Entertainment Credit Union’s member newsletters and 2020 annual report, skillfully enhancing the California company’s core values via engaging communications.

Ciminelli’s leadership also extended to the establishment of Nevada-based Vehicle History’s Editorial Department in 2020, overseeing the creation of a comprehensive library of high-quality original content, the launch of a sister site, and the recruitment of a global freelance team. His strategic vision also led to the overhaul of social media channels and the implementation of a content calendar and editorial budget.

Furthermore, the longtime communications professional played a pivotal role in shaping the audience outreach efforts of entertainer-entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez’s NUVO TV, the nation’s first cable television network for bicultural Latinos. His contributions, including the launch of a popular lifestyle blog and the revitalization of the company newsletter, significantly bolstered ratings and casting call responses for the network’s many reality series, including Model Latina. He also contributed on-air content to the talk show Mario Lopez: One on One, crafting interview questions for entertainment icons like Gloria Estefan.

A seasoned professional editor and writer, Ciminelli’s experience includes serving as a former Editor of the award-winning Buffalo State Record and as a Marketing Production Editor at the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles. His contributions to UCLA’s new Pathways program for disabled students further exemplify his commitment to impactful communication.

Commissioned by L.A.’s Internet Brands, the digital media agency behind WebMD and Fodor’s Travel, Ciminelli managed the company’s Automotive Media department, overseeing over a dozen high-traffic websites, including Rennlist, Club Lexus, and Ford Trucks. His strategic vision and leadership of staff and freelance creative teams enabled Corvette Forum to achieve a milestone of over 10 million site visits in a single day in 2020. Beyond maintaining the professional quality of multiple renowned brands, he revitalized the department’s social media presence, secured coverage for major events, and enhanced video production with clear branding and a polished touch.

In his downtime, Ciminelli is the sole writer, editor, and photographer behind Los Angeles’ niche music and arts blog Sunset N’ Clark, which he designed and manages.
